  • Genetic issues, as stated in this research by the University of Zaragoza, which links certain types of dermatitis with the genetic predisposition to suffer them.

    How to treat facial pimples.

    Home and natural remedies

    1. Rosemary and chamomile steam facial baths

To begin with, the first home remedy that we propose to eliminate pimples on the nose is facial steam baths.

When preparing a medicinal infusion and letting it boil, the vapors work, according to this research, as a sterilizer and antiseptic, in addition to facilitating the work of the other two elements.

For one thing, chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties. On the other hand, rosemary helps us prevent the superinfection of grains, since it favors skin healing.
With these two ingredients we can prepare the facial steam that we will do once a week.

    Ingredients

    • 5 glasses of water (1 liter)
    • 2 tablespoons of dried rosemary leaf (30 g)
    • 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile flower (30 g)

    Preparation and use

    • To begin, we will bring the water to a boil and let the medicinal plants cook for 5 minutes.
    • We will turn off the heat and bring our face close to the pan, about 30 centimeters, being careful not to burn ourselves.
    • We can put a towel over our head to better maintain the steam without losing it.
    • We will stay that way for 2 to 5 minutes.

    2. Baking soda and coconut oil scrub

After exposing the skin to facial steam, we can promote a deep cleansing of the pores of the nose with an exfoliation.

In this sense, we recommend combining sodium bicarbonate, which in turn is antibacterial and according to research published by the Cuban Journal of General Medicine, has a suitable roughness for the nose and skin area, with coconut oil. This oil works as a great anti-inflammatory, according to various studies.

    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil (15 ml)
    • 1 teaspoon of baking soda (3 g)

    Preparation and use

    • We will mix both ingredients until we obtain a paste.
    • On damp skin, we will apply this paste and massage the nose gently.
    • If we wish, we can exfoliate our entire face.
    • To finish, we will wash our face with water to remove the remains of the scrub.

    3. Aloe vera and tea tree gel

To hydrate the skin of the nose without adding excess oil, we recommend using a non-oily lotion.

For this reason, we can use aloe vera gel as a base, which maintains the moisture of the skin, protects it and promotes the healing of pimples and acne. In addition,  tea tree essential oil helps prevent new pimples in the nose thanks to its antibacterial power.

    Ingredients

    • 3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel (45 g)
    • 6 drops of tea tree essential oil

    Preparation and use

    • We will mix both ingredients and keep them in an airtight jar.
    • When applying them we must avoid the eye area.

    4. Clay and charcoal mask

To remove pimples from the nose we need ingredients that help us absorb and eliminate impurities through the pores. For this, we have two excellent natural products thanks to their detoxifying virtues: clay and charcoal.

Clay absorbs toxins while providing minerals. According to this research, charcoal is a great cleanser and absorbent and, thanks to its gritty texture, it also acts as an exfoliator.
Both ingredients combine perfectly as a mask to combat pimples.

    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon of green or white clay (15 g)
    • 1 teaspoon of charcoal for cosmetic use (5 g)
    • 3 tablespoons of water (45 ml)

    Elaboration and application

    • To begin, we will mix the clay, charcoal and water without using plastic or metal utensils or containers. We will opt for those made of glass, ceramic or wood.
    • We must get a spreadable paste that is not too runny or too dry.
    • We will apply the mask on the nose and let it act for about 15 minutes or until it dries.
    • To finish, we will remove it with water and hydrate the skin.

As you can see, these remedies are simple, inexpensive and very natural. What are you waiting to try them?
