Elaboration

  1. Cut the bread into cubes or thin slices and reserve.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan.
  3. Peel the garlic, cut it into slices and sauté in the olive oil until golden brown.
  4. Add the bread, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
  5. Pour in the paprika and stir.
  6. Add 1 liter of water and season to taste.
  7. Cook over high heat until the soup comes to a boil.

By incorporating chorizo ​​into the soup, you make it more caloric and a little less healthy (due to the cholesterol content of the chorizo). Ingredients

  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 120 g of chorizo
  • 1 loaf of stale bread
  • 130 ml of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and sweet paprika (to taste)
  • 1 liter of meat broth
  • extra virgin olive oil (required amount)

Elaboration

  1. Put the olive oil in a saucepan and heat it.
  2. Chop the garlic and sauté in the oil until golden brown.
  3. Chop the chorizo ​​and the bread and add them to the casserole. Stir well.
  4. Add the meat broth and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and cook for about 10 minutes or until the bread falls apart.
  5. Add the two eggs and beat continuously for 5 minutes  until you get a cream. Serve and enjoy!

3. Garlic soup with poached egg

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g of bread
  • 1 liter of vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
  • extra virgin olive oil (required amount)

Elaboration

  1. Peel and chop the garlic.
  2. Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the minced garlic.

  • Add potatoes to the soup. In this way, you will increase its nutritional value and it will “fill” more, thus being ideal as a main dish.
